Snow, REALLY????

So it's april, MID april to be exact almost MAY as everyone knows & here in Chicago we woke up to SNOW!!! Are you kidding me!?!?!?!?!?!?!.... :-(  It wasnt much but still....we should be enjoyig spring weather not still cooped up from our winter. Last sunday was such an awesome day...it really us. 82!!!!

I love my city but seriously the weather here really isnt much to brag about. Summers are either really HOT or cold. Than winters are just dreadful, way to much snow.

Id love to move to a much warmer climate but where??? Mmmmmm something to speak to the hubby about. :-)

Photo sessions....

Creating memories is a HUGE thing for me ever since I got married and had my daughter.  I want to capture every moment of OUR life together so that we can occasionally take a stroll down memory lane. :-)

With that being said, Easter is around the corner. Its 1 of my 3 favorite holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the other two.

So I decided to take my daughter to take pictures with the Easter bunny at our local mall. Confession: prior to this she had a 15 mintue or so photo shoot @ Walmart. I told you!!! I was obsessed with capturing every moment. LOL!!! Anyway...she and I were at the mall & asked her if she wanted to take a picture with the Easter bunny & to my amazement she replied "Yes mami" and as soon as the bunny was in site...she raced off!!!!

She sat on the bunny's lap, was hugging the bunny, talking to it. We had a couple of shots taken & all was done buuuuuuut she didn't want to leave the bunny's side. It took me awhile but eventually left.

Photo session was a SUCCESS!!!!

Very productive day

Today I made a huuuuuge step forward. With furthering my education Im BACK in school as of the summer. I have my associates in Arts degree but need that Bachleors. Im 1/2 way there, Yiiiipppeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!...

I felt a bit intimidated being there amongst so many "YOUNG-ER" people but I guess it was due to the time of day, MORNING. Anyway it is 1 of the most important things in my life that I want to accomplish. Not only for myself but for my daughter. she/my husband are the ones that keep me going...

Sooooo we shall see. Summer session starts May 23, taking 6 cr hrs in 6 weeks. GOD! help me....LOL!!!

My home life is going to be INSANE!! during this time...LOL! hopefully I can hold it all together. :-)

A beautiful day....but inside

Today in my hometown, it is a warm,sunny 65!!!!...Everyone is enjoying the weather today, its rare here this time of month it being April. :-) Me however...Im inside with a sick toddler. My daughter isnt feeling well. Boo!!
